let’s campaign for equality & justice

Omaha businesswoman and AI strategist Jess Goldoni was recently featured in the Nebraska Examiner for her campaign to represent Legislative District 18, which includes northwest Omaha and Bennington.

A lifelong Nebraskan and co-founder of Nebrask.ai, Goldoni has spent the past two decades helping businesses innovate across industries—from health care to agriculture to artificial intelligence. She’s running with a focus on smart state spending, education, veterans’ support, and modernizing government.

Her priorities include giving K-12 schools the resources they need, supporting veterans “without excuses,” expanding trades and dual-credit programs, and backing Nebraska-owned small businesses and startups.

Goldoni, a moderate Democrat, says she’s frustrated by “wasted potential” in state government and the partisan gridlock that keeps progress from happening. “Too many people on the left and right are digging their heels in on principle, and no one is coming together to actually get anything done for hard-working Nebraskans,” she told the Nebraska Examiner.

With deep family ties to military service and a background in entrepreneurship, Goldoni says she’s running to bring pragmatic, problem-solving leadership to the Legislature and to re-engage voters who’ve grown disillusioned with politics.

The 2026 race for District 18 is expected to be one of Nebraska’s most competitive, following Sen. Christy Armendariz’s decision not to seek reelection.
